Family First Prevention Services Act in Maine

Posted on June 26, 2020

Maine Parent Federation is proud to be partnering with OCFS to inform parents and youth about the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA). Join MPF staff and FFPSA program manager Christine Theriault, LMSW to learn more!

The Family First law works to:

  • Keep children and teens safely with their own family and avoid placement into foster care by providing increased services and supports to families, and
  • Improve existing residential services for youth who need this placement.

To learn more about the positive changes and impact for children and families as a result of this Act, attend one of two webinars planned. Download the flyer here: Family First Services Prevention Act.
