Maine Pediatric and Behavioral Health Partnership Announces Free Educational Opportunities for Pediatric Behavioral Health Providers -Earn CME/CEs

Pediatric Psychiatry in the Primary Care Setting ECHO
MPBHP invites pediatric primary care providers and their teams to join their monthly ECHO sessions, held on the first Wednesday of each month from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. This collaborative learning model offers a platform to discuss pediatric behavioral health challenges, share best practices, and build community capacity.

  • August 27, 2025 — Noon to 1:00 PM: MPBHP ECHO Kickoff Conversation
    An introductory session to outline the ECHO series goals, expectations, and provide space for participants to share priorities and challenges in pediatric behavioral health.
  • September 3, 2025 — Noon to 1:00 PM: Strengthening School-Primary Care Partnerships with Dr. Alyssa Goodwin, Stellar Pediatrics
    Explore collaboration between schools and primary care to support student mental health, including navigating consent laws (HIPAA/FERPA) and upcoming opportunities like the School Health Summit in Augusta.
  • October 1, 2025 — Noon to 1:00 PM: Maine’s Model for Adolescent Substance Use with Dr. Deborah Hagler, TREAT ME Now
    Learn about Maine’s rapid-response initiative connecting youth ages 13–19 to substance use treatment within 24 hours and how this model improves care coordination and outcomes.
