Consumers for Affordable Health Care (CAHC) is a Maine-based nonprofit dedicated to improving access to affordable, quality, and equitable health care for all people living in Maine. We help consumers tackle issues in health coverage, develop policy initiatives to improve access to care, and strive to improve health equity in our state. In our presentation, we will provide an overview of Consumers for Affordable Health Care’s (CAHC) role as the Consumer Assistance Program for the state of Maine, and the services we provide through our toll-free helpline, enrollment assistance, and appeals assistance.
