Motivational Interviewing (MI) offers a practical, relationship-centered approach to engaging adolescents, reducing resistance, and supporting meaningful health behavior change. This webinar will explore how MI strategies can be used in real-world pediatric settings to foster autonomy, strengthen collaboration, and guide youth toward positive emotional and behavioral outcomes.

This free webinar is for pediatric clinicians, behavioral health professionals, school-based providers, and others who work with adolescents.

Featured Speaker: Anna Mayo, PsyD, Pediatric Specialty Care, Northern Light Health

Dr. Mayo is a clinical child psychologist specializing in pediatric psychology at Northern Light Health’s Pediatric Specialty Care. She completed her predoctoral internship at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City and a fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Mayo works with pediatric specialists and primary care providers to support the behavioral and emotional health of children and adolescents with complex medical needs.
