Learning Objectives:

By the end of this course, the participant will be able to:

  1. Apply the SUCCES framework (Simple, Unexpected, Concrete, Credible, Emotional, Stories) to create effective health messaging that combats misinformation.
  2. Develop proactive strategies for listening to community questions and coordinating resources to deliver positive health information before misinformation takes hold
  3. Implement social media amplification strategies to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and organizations to share evidence-based health information

This session will help healthcare professionals proactively combat health misinformation that undermines breastfeeding support, as most professionals currently respond reactively after false information has already influenced families' decisions. The presentation provides evidence-based strategies for creating "sticky" positive messaging and building community resilience against misinformation before it takes hold, shifting from crisis management to prevention.
