Chelsea Peters, Esq.
Chelsea Peters has been a practicing attorney in Maine for the last 15 years. She began her practice as a solo practitioner attorney representing parents in child protection cases, youth in emancipation and juvenile defense cases, and acting as a Guardian ad litem for children in both private and court appointed cases. She has worked with hundreds of youth and families experiencing trauma, abuse, neglect, substance use disorder, and mental health challenges. In 2024, Chelsea began working as a Staff Attorney in the Kids Legal unit at Pine Tree Legal Assistance. Kids Legal works with youth and families in the areas of special education access and programming, school discipline, bullying, youth homelessness, and emancipation. Chelsea attended Bowdoin College for her undergraduate degree and the University of Washington School of Law. She resides in Portland, ME with her husband and school aged children.
