Pediatric ECHO Program - February - June 2027

Posted on October 30, 2026

Description:

The SAFEST Choice National Learning Collaborative is a joint program between Boston Medical Center and Proof Alliance that helps clinics address fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) in prenatal and pediatric care settings through virtual ECHO education. The HRSA-funded program is currently enrolling health care teams who provide pediatric care to join the next training starting in February 2027 and for prenatal care teams starting in September 2027. As space is limited, early enrollment is encouraged. Spots will be allocated on a rolling, first-come basis. The training will include 10 sessions over 5 months. Clinic teams will learn how to screen for a history of prenatal alcohol exposure, facilitate assessments for FASDs, and manage care for those at risk for, and identified with, an FASD. Participants receive free continuing education credits (physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers).  see attached
