The American Academy of Pediatrics will host its annual National Conference & Exhibition Oct. 2-6, 2026, in San Diego. Media are invited to attend the conference, which will be held in-person at the San Diego Convention Center and include livestream sessions. Pediatric leaders will present emerging research and policy on topics about improving the health of children and youth. This year’s topics include vaccine updates; Medicaid changes; synthetic nicotine, cannabis and opioids; preventing food allergies; and much more. The keynote speaker is Mike Varshavski, DO, known as "Doctor Mike," the most followed practicing medical physician and health content creator, with more than 30 million followers on social media platforms.
